Vintage Perfection Cocktails: The Heirs

Last thursday was held the second edition of the Vintage Perfection Cocktail, the event that brings together some of the best bartenders in the country for the launch of a new collection of cocktails based on a process of maturation in oak barrels.


Each one of the bartenders who received “inherited” the barrel of the participants from the first edition explained the elaborate process involving liquor maturation in oak barrels, this challenge they accepted from their Godparents was to develop a personalized recipe based on the Glenrothes Select Reserve or The Glenrothes Vintage 1998, taking advantage of this whisky and adding the rest of ingredients and time to mature (which varied in each case).


Special thanks to Carolina Gómez and Ronnie Cox, Ambassadors of The Glenrothes, who guided us in this innovative process of creating cocktails by maturation in oak barrels, softening the event and making it even more nice.

2nd Edition of Vintage Perfection Cocktails


This thursday October the 24th will take place at Magatzem Escolà (c/ Comercial 13) a presentation and tast event of different cocktails, the second Edition of the Vintage Perfection Cocktails.


A pioneer process of innovation in the cocktail culture: cocktail maturation in oak barrels. Some of the best bartenders in the country have received an inheritance from their sponsors, participants of the first edition, the barrel where they have developed their cocktails.


Well-known bartenders from different places, including Ideal Cocktail Bar cocktail will make your presentation in the presence of the press to act followed them to the public. During the presentation will share the results and details of this process and experience, from the hand of one of the largest international spirits experts: Ronnie Cox.


Joining us during the presentation: Sergio Padilla, Manel Trivó, Josep Mª Gotarda, Giuseppe Santa María, Giuseppe Baldi y Yanaida Prado.

3rd Edition of “Tapa Solidària”

tapa-solidaria-casalToday, Thursday, October the 3rd at 10:30 am we presented at the restaurant Tickets the 3rd edition of the Tapa Solidaria in which Ideal Cocktail Bar will collaborate for 3 months starting October the 7th.

The benefits of Tapa Solidària are intended to cover projects that help thousands of children, youth and families experiencing poverty and exclusion situations. This initiative translates into more opportunities for these people to move on.


Ideal Cocktail Bar will participate with the famous potato omelette tapa of “Ms. Carmen” part of the benefits of this potato tapa will be donated to Casal d’Infants del Raval. Also in gratitude to all those who enjoy one of these pintxos enter a draw awarded with a trip to Dubai for four days.
