Last Thursday the 15th took place the first edition of Tast a la Rambla, a gastronomic walk along the Rambla de Santa Monica where you could enjoy the best cuisine in Barcelona. With over 100 meters of bar and 42 participants this first edition also had a schedule of lectures at the Arts Santa Monica museum as well as live music. The BRA mixology recipe book was made in 1980 by José Mª Gotarda, father of the nowadays owner of Ideal Josep Mª Gotarda. In this book we can find different cocktail recipes as well as advices and ideas to make as much as possible with our shaker. Amongst all the recipes it has we’d like to highlight the following:
It’s mixed in the shaker and it’s served in a wide glass with ice.
It’s mixed in the shaker and served in a tall glass, the edge of it must have salt impregnated.
Mixed in the shaker, served in tall glass with crushed ice.
Mixed in the shaker, once served you must add 2 drops of Bitter.
Prepared in a mixer glass (the low part of the shaker) with a lot of ice, mixing it with a long spoon. Served in a cold cocktail glass.
